Hosted by La Stanza Assocciazione, this exhibition, presented in collaboration with Juan Luis Zegarra, celebrates our shared international heritage—my roots in South Africa and his in Peru—by showcasing the cherished animals of our respective regions. I have chosen to highlight the unique wildlife of the Karoo Desert, including the endangered riverine rabbit and pangolin, while he focuses on the marine creatures of the Peruvian coast, featuring the endangered dolphin. Through this exhibition, we aim to raise awareness about the conservation of these magnificent creatures and the diverse ecosystems they inhabit.
