I grew up in a creative family in Cape Town, where I was encouraged to explore my artistic side. Now living in Genoa, Italy, I find inspiration in the city's rich culture, which has deepened my passion for creating meaningful art. I live here with my husband and child, and we love discovering the beauty and history around us.
My work focuses on wildlife illustrations with engaging compositions. Recently, I’ve been drawing inspiration from South Africa’s wildlife, blending my roots with my love of nature. I primarily use watercolours and oil, but I’ve also started exploring digital illustration, which has opened up exciting new possibilities.
In addition to personal projects, I’ve illustrated several children’s books, which has been a valuable part of my artistic journey, offering different challenges and experiences.
I’ve participated in several exhibitions, and the one I co-organised with a fellow artist here in Genoa was a particularly rewarding experience, allowing me to engage more deeply with the process and the local artistic community. I look forward to doing it again!
